If it’s Friday, there’s a pau hana (after work) block party happening in one of Maui’s charming small towns.
The first Friday of every month, it’s in Wailuku; the second Friday, Lahaina; the third Friday, Makawao; and the fourth Friday, Kihei. Everyone is welcome to join the festivities, which include live music, art demonstrations and booths selling jewelry, crafts, clothing and ono (delicious) food—from pizza to plate lunches.
Attractions change; past events have featured magic shows, pet fairs, fashion shows and displays of classic cars. Shops, galleries and restaurants get into the swing of things by offering great deals.
