As home to the LOTTE Championship which features an annual field of the top women’s golfers from around the world, Ko Olina offers a challenging 18-hole array designed by renowned golf course architect Ted Robinson.
The mostly-flat course offers large landing areas, but golfers must be aware of various water features, multi-tiered greens, and baffling bunkers that will have both rookies and veteran swingers scrambling to find the best approaches.
Ko Olina’s par-3 12th hole spans 166 yards from the men’s tees and represents one of the course’s signature “beauty shots.” Golfers drive under a cascading waterfall en route to the tee box then must battle prevailing trade winds while also avoiding a pond on the left, large palm trees surrounding the green, and sand traps scattered across the landscape.
