That’s where Bar Leather Apron, a dimly lit, tiny bar is located.
Don’t let the location fool you, this is a serious cocktail joint. In fact, you’ll want to make reservations — ask for a spot at the bar.
The bar is helmed by co-owners Tom Park and Justin Park (no relation).
Justin Park is an award-winning mixologist, including in 2012 and 2015 for the Don the Beachcomber Mai Tai Festival “World’s Best Mai Tai” competition.
Naturally, you have to try his E Ho’o Pau when visiting Bar Leather Apron. It’s made with raisin-infused, five-year-old El Dorado rum, 12-year-old El Dorado, coconut water syrup, spiced orgeat, ohia blossom honey, lime and Absinthe. The cocktail is finished with kiawe wood smoke.
It’s more than a cocktail, it’s an experience.
