Hawaii Island Places
The largest of all the islands, Hawaii Island continues to grow in size as lava flows into the sea. Beyond the volcano, there's so much to experience here, from cowboy country, luxury resorts to eco-adventures. The eruption of Kilauea Volcano began in 1983 and continues today, making Hawaii Volcanoes National Park a hot spot for visitors.
While visiting Hawaii Island, you can also experience some of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses, sacred cultural and historical sites including the birthplace of Hawaii's first king, Kamehameha I, and the first missionary church in the state.
