If you’re planning to explore the deep blue sea, we’ll gladly transport your scuba diving equipment for you.

What exactly do we mean by scuba diving equipment? One item of equipment is:

  • One scuba tank (must be empty)
  • One scuba regulator
  • One tank harness
  • One tank pressure gauge
  • One maskTwo fins
  • One snorkel
  • One knife
  • One spear gun
  • One safety vest

Please make sure your scuba tank’s regulator valve is completely disconnected from the cylinder and the cylinder is no longer sealed—it must be empty and have an open end so our agents can visually inspect inside. If the regulator valve is attached and the cylinder is sealed, we cannot accept the tank aboard our aircraft, regardless of the reading on the pressure gauge indicator.

Note: Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA) is not to be confused with Emergency Escape Breathing Devices (EEBD), also referred to as Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). TSA requirements mean that we can only allow depleted EEBD or SCBA on board as part of your carryon baggage allowance and not as checked baggage.

Sports Equipment Fees and Restrictions

How much will it cost to transport your scuba diving equipment? It all depends on your destination. Keep in mind that long layovers along the way could mean you’ll be charged baggage fees to and from your layover point.
